When a professional photographer and a color specialist decided to create their dream home in the heart of Mallorca<\/strong>, they entrusted Brunet Arquitectes<\/strong> to transform an old agricultural structure into a unique residence. The result transcends traditional residential design, becoming a space tailored for outdoor living, family gatherings, and everyday creativity. \u201cIn Mallorca, architects build both the structure and the surroundings,\u201d<\/strong> states Lloren\u00e7 Brunet<\/strong>, emphasizing the dialogue between architecture and landscape. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Located on a hill surrounded by wild olive trees, Can Bordoy<\/a><\/strong> reimagines traditional Mallorcan rural architecture with a contemporary twist<\/strong>. The original 50 m\u00b2 structure was expanded to 235 m\u00b2 through the addition of interconnected pavilions, each serving a specific purpose: kitchen-dining area, living room with an annex for bedrooms, a social space with a rooftop solarium, and a private suite with its own character. This modular design achieves aesthetic coherence through the use of local materials such as rough-textured, sand-colored mortar, which visually unifies the pavilions while seamlessly integrating them into the natural landscape. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
