From their childhood, the owners of this charming residence dreamed of living in Mallorca. Ultimately, their love for the island led them to realise that dream, creating a home that is both a haven of tranquillity and a tribute to local traditions.

This exceptional residence in Mallorca has been selected as the featured home for the May edition of El Mueble magazine. Its perfect blend of rustic aesthetics with modern conveniences, along with its impressive use of natural materials and integration with the island landscape, make it a paradigmatic example of contemporary design and lifestyle. Its inclusion in the magazine not only honors the beauty and uniqueness of the property but also consecrates it as a source of inspiration for lovers of design and interior decoration worldwide.

The Beauty of Nature
Just across the threshold, visitors are greeted by an impressive view of mountains and almond trees visible from the garden. In this Mediterranean oasis, the pool area stands out particularly, with its mesh roof subtly playing with the sunlight, creating a magical and relaxing effect, ideal for enjoying the island’s idyllic climate.

Spaces that Celebrate Tradition and Modernity
The exterior design features a hemp pergola over a gravel floor, elements that strengthen the authentic character of the house. According to the owner, the charm of the residence lies in the use of local natural materials. “We set out to create a rustic and relaxed environment by unifying floors and walls in neutral tones and complementing them with local stone walls,” she explains. The result is a space that celebrates rural aesthetics without sacrificing modern comfort.

A Home for Sharing
The dining room, connected to the living room through an open space that provides continuity, is always ready to welcome guests. “We love cooking with them, which is why the kitchen is located just behind, separated only by a wide island that invites conversation while preparing meals,” says the owner. This area combines rustic and modern elements, like marble-effect finishes and wooden doors.

Intimacy with a Touch of Openness
The bedrooms have their own porch and are designed in an open concept, with the bathroom and dressing room fully integrated, following the same palette of finishes and colours. Dressed in natural fibres and linen bed linens, these spaces pay homage to the island with cushions featuring the traditional Mallorcan ikat print.

The owner proudly concludes, “It’s everything we dreamed of in a country house.” In this residence, every detail has been thoughtfully considered to enhance the beauty of Mallorca, creating a home that is not just a place to live, but a true island life experience.
