CENTRE D’INTERPRETACIÓ DEL POBLAT TALAIÒTIC DE S’ILLOT

A Threshold Between History and Landscape

An interpretation center conceived as a transitional space between the urban fabric of s’Illot and the talayotic settlement. The architecture is designed as a restrained and quiet building, where light, materiality, and scale create an atmosphere of calm and reflection.

The interior spaces are open and serene, guiding the visitor’s journey and reinforcing the experience of place. The connection with the exterior unfolds gradually, culminating in a walkway and a lookout that link directly to the archaeological site and the surrounding landscape.

Material and form evoke an essential and timeless character, understanding architecture as a frame that opens access to the memory of the territory.
