Son Rutlan is conceived as a Passive House arranged in a sequence of volumes that engage with the surrounding landscape in a respectful and intelligent way. The fragmentation of the program allows for gentle proportions and a series of courtyards that mediate the relationship between indoors and outdoors. This layout creates a rich spatial diversity, where each room connects to its own private outdoor area. Moving through the house becomes a calm and fluid experience, where architecture, landscape, and energy efficiency naturally intertwine.
