A terraced house in Sa Pobla where traditional architecture adapts to a more open, bright and contemporary way of living.

Located in the heart of Sa Pobla, in the north of the island, Ca n’Erik is the result of the complete renovation of a traditional building. The intervention preserves the essence of the original home while reorganising its spaces to improve comfort and create a more fluid relationship between indoors and outdoors.

Natural light and the visual connection with the patio shape the project. The new arrangement of the staircase, technical room and swimming pool allows each element to be better integrated, turning the patio into a natural extension of the interior spaces.

Upstairs, a more practical layout and carefully redesigned bathrooms optimise the available space. The result combines the character of traditional Mallorcan village houses with a calm, functional architecture designed for contemporary living.
